The mini golf exhibition features a 9-hole indoor course and leads visitors on a journey through the history and evolution of miniature golf in the USA.

Looking back at the Mini-ART-ure Golf playable exhibit at the Muskegon Museum of Art in Muskegon, Michigan, USA.

Back in 2022 the Muskegon Museum of Art in Muskegon, Michigan had a Mini-ART-ure Golf course where visitors could play a 9-hole mini-golf course inside the museum. The course was set up between January and May of that year.

Mini Golf at the Paul W. Bryant Museum in Tuscaloosa, Alabama

A Museum Masters Mini Golf Course has been created at the Paul W. Bryant Museum in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, USA.

The custom 9-hole course will be available to play inside the museum on Monday 14th April 2025.

The Paul W. Bryant Museum opened in 1988 to and is dedicated to the history of Alabama American Football, with an emphasis on the legendary coach Paul William "Bear" Bryant.

The 18-hole outdoor miniature golf course was designed by Jim Fazio and Gary Nicklaus and is designed to educate visitors about natural Florida habitats.

It's worth noting that the course will be closing on the 12th June!

Linvilla Orchards is a 300-acre family farm dedicated to agriculture, entertainment and education.

Mattatuck Museum Mini Golf (2018)

Noting the Mattatuck Museum Mini Golf course back in 2018.

Back in 2018 the Mattatuck Museum in Waterbury, Connecticut, USA had a 9-hole mini golf installation from June to September.

The course was themed and decorated by the museum and fabricated by Oldham Studios.

Pizza Putt at the Children's Museum of Wilmington in Wilmington, North Carolina

There's an annual fundraiser involving minigolf at the Children's Museum of Wilmington in Wilmington, North Carolina, USA.

As big fans of minigolf, and curators of the Crazy Golf Museum, it's always interesting seeing minigolf/museum crossovers.

This year the Children's Museum of Wilmington held its first annual fundraiser with a Pizza Putt event.

The event was held on the 7th February and saw visitors enjoy unlimited pizza, minigolf and craft beer.

The success of the inaugural event has meant that it will be an annual tradition, with the next edition scheduled for the 6th February 2026.

Last year saw a pop-up mini-golf course created outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art.

The team at Libertee Grounds hosted a Philadelphia-themed pop-up mini-golf course called Libertee Grounds at Eakins Oval outside the Philadelphia Museum of Art last year.

There's a Crazy Golf course at Ripley's in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, USA.

It's also interesting to see a miniature golf course in the USA use the name 'Crazy Golf' as that is far more often seen in the UK.

Ripley's Crazy Golf is one of seven Ripley's attractions in Myrtle Beach.

Playing Miniature Golf at Boondocks Fun Center in Northglenn, Colorado

Looking back at my visit to the Miniature Golf course at Boondocks Fun Center in Northglenn, Colorado, USA in 2009.

I played the two miniature golf courses at Boondocks Fun Center in the town of Northglenn, Colorado in March 2009.

My visit came during a trip to Denver to attend the week-long SportAccord conference in the city. During some downtime I travelled outside the city limits to play miniature golf in the Boondocks!

As it was '$12 Tuesday' I had unlimited play on the minigolf courses - the 'Caverns Mill' and 'Hillbilly Hallow' - that sit next to Interstate-25. I managed to fit in three rounds on the two layouts.

The courses became the 82nd and 83rd played on the Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

Baseball Mini Golf at FTW in Chicago

A look at the baseball-themed hole at FTW in Chicago.

Emily swung by FTW in Chicago back in 2018 and on her return visit in 2019 had a game of mini golf there.

One of the holes is based on Comiskey Park, home of the Chicago White Sox.

The course at FTW is a 6-hole layout themed on the Windy City.

Holey Moley Golf Club in San Antonio is home to three 9-hole indoor mini golf courses.

You can find Holey Moley Golf Club venues in California (Irvine Spectrum, San Francisco & Santa Monica), Colorado (Denver), and Texas (Austin, Houston & San Antonio). The Holey Moley brand began in Australia and you can find several locations there.
