Refurbishment of the Adventure Golf at Four Ashes Golf Centre in Dorridge, Solihull

The Adventure Golf course at Four Ashes Golf Centre in Dorridge, Solihull is getting a makeover.

The 18-hole outdoor Adventure Golf course at the Four Ashes Golf Centre is closing for a refurbishment on Monday 8th April. Following approximately two weeks of work the venue will be unveiling a brand new course!

We played the Adventure Golf course at Four Ashes Golf Centre in September 2017. The layout was the 770th visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

We've visited the Four Ashes Golf Centre a lot over the years to play tournaments on the centre's 12-hole Mini Golf course. It was originally course number 72 visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour back in September 2008.

Spinners Crazy Golf & Bowling in Solihull

A new indoor minigolf course is opening in Solihull.

The Spinners Crazy Golf & Bowling venue will be located in Touchwood shopping centre.

Spinners Crazy Golf & Bowling in Solihull will be the third Spinners location. There are also venues in Reading and Plymouth.

Spinners Mini Golf in Plymouth and Solihull

Two new Spinners Crazy Golf courses are opening this year.

The team at Spinners are opening two new venues in 2023.

Spinners Plymouth and Spinners Solihull will be new places for us to visit on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

Spinners has a course in Reading, Berkshire.

Pop up Crazy Golf in Solihull town centre

There's a pop up crazy golf course set up in Solihull town centre for the summer.

Backyard Golf is open daily, 11am to 5pm and can be found on Theatre Square at the Touchwood shopping and entertainment centre in Solihull.

We heard today that the course has now been removed.

It was one of the first courses played on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour and one we played in many tournaments over the years.

It was such a superb test of putting skill.

New Crazy Golf course at Touchwood Shopping Centre in Solihull

There's a new Scrap Yard Golf course at Touchwood Shopping Centre in Solihull.

Touchwood Shopping Centre in Solihull has a 9-hole Crazy Golf course set-up for the summer.

The Crazy Golf course - known as Scrap Yard Golf - has been created as part of Touchwood’s Costa-Del-Solihull summer activities at the shopping centre.

Playing the new Adventure Golf course at Four Ashes Golf Centre in Dorridge, Solihull.

On Saturday 9th September we visited the Four Ashes Golf Centre in Dorridge to play the new 18-hole Adventure Golf course.

On the 18th

It's a brilliant Harris Miniature Golf layout and it looks superb. Even though the weather had been dreadful the course still played really nicely. I shot a round of 41 (the course par is 50). Not bad considering the weather conditions. There are definitely some great hole-in-one opportunities on the course, as well as some potential pitfalls. It's a well designed course and you really need to be on top of your game for some of the second putts as the greens are fairly large for minigolf.

It was a very wet Saturday when we called into the Four Ashes Golf Centre in Dorridge

On Saturday 9th September we visited the Four Ashes Golf Centre in Dorridge to play the new 18-hole Adventure Golf course. While there we also had to have a look at the 12-hole Mini Golf course - we've played it so many times over the years. It was the 72nd course visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour back in 2008.

A nice hole to start your round - but it can be a tough second putt if you don't get your reboud right

The optical illusion can trick you into playing too hard a shot. This will leave you with a tough second putt
