Putt-Putt at Three Anchor Bay in Moullie Point/Sea Point in Cape Town

A look at a Putt-Putt course in Cape Town, South Africa.

Many thanks to Adam Trigg for sending me a snap of the Putt-Putt course at Three Anchor Bay in Moullie Point/Sea Point, Cape Town from his recent trip to South Africa.

I've blogged about the course before as I own a postcard showing the course. My friend PJ Goedhals was a local champion of the venue and tells me the two courses were previously painted distinct colours - one orange and one blue.

We're yet to play the Putt-Putt brand of miniature golf. Sadly there are no longer any Putt-Putt courses in the UK. Hopefully we'll get to play the format when we're next in the USA.

Mini Golf in Muscat, Oman

Details of the Mini Golf course at the Shangri-la Hotel in Muscat, Oman.

My cousins have been Crazy Golfing again and have sent over some snaps from their game at the Shangri-la Hotel in Muscat, Oman. Conditions looked a little different from their round of Crazy Golf at the Seawick Holiday Park in St Osyth, Essex earlier this year.

My cousin's husband Adam tells me he won the game with 18 shots over the 9-holes - including holes-in-one on the first and last hole. A very nice score indeed. He must of been in Crazy Golf paradise after the round. My cousin Sharon aced hole 1.

Interestingly eight of the nine holes on the Mini Golf course at the Shangri-la Hotel had two cups to putt into!? I haven't seen that as an option before!

Crazy Golf course in Bury St Edmunds

Pop-up Crazy Golf course spotted in Bury St Edmunds.

My cousin's husband Adam Trigg sent over this photo of a Crazy Golf course layout he spotted set-up on the grass in the park opposite the Angel Hotel in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk at the weekend.

A Mini Golf course. Set-up on grass. Crazy

Years ago I played a very early Putterfingers Crazy Golf course in the Abbey Gardens in Bury St Edmunds.

Earlier this year my cousins played the Crazy Golf course at Seawick Holiday Park in St Osyth, near Clacton-on-Sea, Essex.

Details of the Crazy Golf course at Seawick Holiday Park in St Osyth, near Clacton-on-Sea, Essex.

My cousins were recently at Seawick Holiday Park St Osyth near Clacton-on-Sea in Essex and sent me some snaps of them playing the Crazy Golf course. It certainly looks like a unique layout!

I've never played a course laid out on sand before!

Adam tells me the sand was very we too. It can't have made for easy putting!

Visit the Seawick Holiday Park website for more details of the Park Holidays venue.

We've visited Clacton-on-Sea a few times on our travels, most recently in 2015, and always enjoy spending time in the seaside town.
