Putting Green at Beach Gardens in Swanage, Dorset

A look at the minigolf grass Putting course at Beach Gardens in Swanage.

Many thanks to our friend and minigolf rival Tiger Pragnell for sending over these minigolf snaps from his recent trip to Swanage. While on holiday in the Dorset seaside resort he found a Putting Green that we missed on our tour of the South West coast in 2015!

A nice flag. And bench

Tiger also swung by the Jurassic Adventure Golf course at the Santa-Fe Fun Park on the seafront. That particular course was the 600th visited on our Crazy World of Minigolf Tour.

Pirate Bay Easter Open minigolf competition in Guernsey

The Pirate Bay Adventure Golf course in Guernsey is hosting the inaugural Pirate Bay Easter Open minigolf competition this week until the 10th April.

The tournament is open to all, with players submitting their scores between the 24th March and the 10th April. 20 children and 20 adults will then make 'the cut' and be invited to compete in the grand final on the 15th April.

Thanks to my mate and minigolf rival Tiger Pragnell for letting me know about the event.

Find out more on the Pirate Bay Adventure Golf website.

We're looking forward to visiting Guernsey and having a round on the new course. My fellow minigolf enthusiast played the course last year and guest blogged about it here on the Ham and Egger Files.

Pirate Bay Adventure Golf is located at The Golf Club @ St Pierre Park, Guernsey.

Britain's Barmiest Golfers

Emily and I have been named as two of Britain's Barmiest Golfers in the latest issue of Today's Golfer magazine. Check out the feature in the November 2016 edition.

Do we look barmy to you?

It's great to see our friend and minigolf rival Tiger Pragnell getting featured too. As well as crazy logo golf ball obsessive Martyn Vallance showing off his collection of 80,000+ golf balls too.

Last year I was named ‘Officially Britain’s Craziest Golfer’ by the magazine.

Perhaps it's hardly surprising to collect these 'gongs' considering we've visited more than 700 miniature golf courses on our travels over the last ten years!
